Nationally, we know systems across the NHS have been struggling to meet targets around referral to treatment time (RTT), cancer waiting times and maximum waits in A&E over the last year.

There have been a number of national programmes implemented to support improvement in these areas, with measureable performance progress seen in many systems.

The Cancer Pathways Improvement Collaborative is keen to explore opportunities to build upon this work and deliver an improvement programme that helps systems to improve performance further, particularly in relation to improving cancer waiting times.

The collaborative is open to all systems in the South region of England and is focused around a six month programme of learning and development events, including regional events, masterclasses and webinars.

Successful sites and systems will also be invited to share their learning and present their work at regional events, as well as via this website.
